BMW
Films features BMW's in a series of short movies produced
exclusively for the internet.
Bond's
relationship with BMW began in Golden Eye where he drove a BMW Z3
roadster.
Historically, Bond drove several British models including Aston
Martin, Lotus Esprit, and Jaguar. Since Golden Eye,
BMW released a new Z3 roadster
with a strong 6-cylinder engine, a Z3
coupe, and Z3's powered by M.
Motorsport, that is! The latest is the
new Z4 roadster, a car that would make James Bond proud.
In Tomorrow Never
Dies, Bond (Pierce Brosnan) drives both the BMW R 1200 Cruiser
and an Aspen Silver BMW 750iL.
The 750iL races from 0-60 mph in 6.7 seconds, courtesy of its gutsy 5.4
liter V-12 engine.
Despite the 750's luxury status, it is actually
faster than the Z3 roadster that Bond drove in Golden Eye. Thanks
to Q, this sedan comes equipped with a remote control, and a killer
alarm system.
The
BMW
Z8 in The World is Not Enough featured the absolute latest in intercepts, surveillance and counter measures. Fitted with Titanium plating and
armor, a multitasking head-up display, and six beverage cup holders, the Z8 truly is a secret agents' dream vehicle.
